Our Josephine No 3 is designed for complex red and white wines, allowing them the chance to develop in a unique way thanks to its shape. Not only does the glass visually complement the voluminous body of great wines from Burgundy to Bordeaux, both red and white, but its pointed conical base also ensures that the complex play of colors may underline the full-bodied depth of the content. With a height of 24 cm (9.4") and a diameter of 8.5 cm (3.3“), this glass is perfect for showcasing the full potential of great full-bodied wines.
The Josephine No 3 was designed in 2019 by Kurt Josef Zalto, Chief Designer at Josephinenhütte, and is handmade in Europe. To care for your glass, a soft linen cloth and a watercolor brush are recommended, and the Josephinenhütte glasses are also dishwasher suitable.
It's important to note that Kurt Josef Zalto was the former co-founder, designer, and managing director of Zalto Glasmanufaktur GmbH and currently serves as the founding partner and chief designer at Josephinenhütte GmbH. Since 2019, he has had no business affiliation with present-day Zalto Glas GmbH and Josephinenhütte GmbH maintains no economic ties with Zalto Glas GmbH.
